About Us
Welcome to our website, we are a small family run show kennel and live within the Staffordshire countryside.
As a child I grew up surrounded by animals, mainly dogs and horses. In fact most of my happiest childhood memories was being with my animals. Richard on the other hand, never even owned a goldfish until we met! I can't really remember a time being without a pet dog, and my love for the Bulldog has been there since I can remember. In 2004 my dream came true and we bought our first Bulldog Maysie. She was bred by Paul & Pauline Reynolds of Sutton on Sea (Biddle Bulldogs). From this day on, my passion for this wonderful breed has continued to grow. The love & joy our Bulldogs bring into our family home is something I cherish everyday.
In January 2007 we went on to produce our first litter of Bulldogs and later that year were granted our Affix - Ricatori. From this litter we kept our beautiful bitch Martha and our Bulldog family has continued to grow.
As professional Show breeders our aim for over twenty years has always been to preserve & protect the true pedigree Bulldog, and we continue to always work towards the Breed Standard with health, temperament & type at the forefront..
We have been very successful in producing many top show winning dogs, including winning Best of Breed at CRUFTS twice with our homebred Bulldogs. Breeding several UK and overseas Champions.
Both Myself & Richard are Kennel Club Breed Specialist Judges and also take a very keen interest in the health and welfare of our wonderful breed, having both previously sat for several years on the board of the Bulldog Breed Council Health Committee.
*Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme update*
As from the 31st December 2024, the Royal Kennel Club made the decision to disband the Assured Breeder Scheme. As members of the scheme for many years we were disappointed with the decision, however our outstanding high level of care for our dogs & puppies will always remain the same as it has always been.
As licensed Breeders (a law requirement in the UK), our home is routinely inspected by our Local Authority. We are proud of the fact that we are a small totally family run and hold the highest star rating achievable for our standard of care and breeding practices.
We would encourage anyone who is looking for a Bulldog puppy to take your time and research the Breeder. Good Breeders can be hard to find, but we are out there, go visit the dog shows, talk to Bulldog Club Secretaries and visit the Bulldog Breed Council website for lots of information.
